So you would love to help Safeguard? We could use your help, and there are many ways to get involved.

Identify at-risk data

We can only safeguard what we know about. Do you work with at-risk data or know people who do? Have you seen articles or social media posts that look like warning signs? Request content to archive on our forum.

Spread the word

Tell people about the ongoing attacks on research data and our cultural heritage. Speak out on social media, tell people who may not know it’s happening, or write an article about it. Talk about efforts like ours and other archivers like Data Rescue Project.

Our archives are vulnerable

No single archive is permanent, nor large enough to store all of our cultures at risk. Modern archival methods are robust, but no archive alone can withstand the multitudes of threats we are currently facing.
